"Pelvic Pain Foundation" are we sure these aren't the same crew as the Great Barrier Reef Foundation who saw a quick 444 million quid from this LNP government in 2018. Apologies if they aren't and they an NGO who are doing genuine engagement work

John: I knew this praise for the womanly re-set of Morrison/Frydenberg in this Budget was way beyond the truth - but this one point savages all those complicit in the whitewash. You strike a note in this focus on endometriosis which goes back beyond 30 years to the loss of our family - a daughter and then twin boys - due to not-diagnosed-until-after-the-second-loss endometriosis - just then coming into view as the culprit - and in other terms - too late. A niece-in-law has the same - though her twin boys and a daughter are with us... Much gratitude for this essay - and its deservèd skewering attack on the greedy/selfish/do-nothing action re this affliction.

First question - who is on the board of the foundation? Does sound rather like thge barrier reef foundation. And how does this help women who have endometriosis? Well of course it doesn't. Because 'awareness raising' is what you do when you don't want to actually fix a problem. It's cheap, it doesn't require highly skilled professionals and it's impossible to evaluate so it's got a 'feel good' element even though it does nothing. A whole lot of Morrison apologists will be saying " well at least the govt is trying" and miss how deeply cynical this is.

I hope endometriosis support groups do some awareness raising of their own in response!

This cynical nothingness is so typical of Scumnuts; using a women's health issue, one that is devastating for most who suffer from it, is just more abusive, misogynistic crap! #mormates #EnoughIsEnough 🤬
