It's the sheer stupidity that gets me. How did any one of the blokes involved in this stench ball ever think this wasn't going to get out for all to see the utter corruption and complete absence of ethics? Are they so convinced of their "Teflon Don" abilities to avoid consequences? Well, I suppose we'll have to see if there are any consequences. It is pretty rare that anyone pays.

Well of course when you lay it out with all the evidence like that, in sequence, with details of all involved and how made the decision and who benefited it's gonna look bad.

As the NSW IBAC being informed that it has to finish its Gladys Berejiklian before it move onto to it John Barilaro. John Barilaro isn't he the numpty that also sicked the NSW Police 'Fixed Persons Unit' onto a media person he didn't like?

"Any of us". Sure.

"Sometime"? How about "Quite often"? Since "some" of us are far more fuckoverable than others. Most, actually; and here's a little hint as to the biggest fuckoverable category, given the broad gist of your article : Christine Holgate. It's just the same old pantomime.

I'll get anecdotal, like the sheila that I am. I was shit-canned when I was on maternity leave. Within three months they gave my job to a bloke! I had to go back to work when my baby was four months old just to fight like hell to not be made redundant, and then to "prove" I could perform another, lower ranking job. I could have taken it further, but who needed that workplace poison, emotional tsunami and money drain? A Federal Court decision within the year showed I'd been treated unlawfully. A few years later, two other Federal Curt decisions showed that things I'd wanted were legal rights (in one case my request was refused; in the other, I didn't even asked to avoid the humiliation of the response).

We're not really past Johnson's "Sir, a woman's preaching is like a dog's walking on his hind legs. It is not done well; but you are surprised to find it done at all."

So, how about doing a piece on that brazen little gobshite Alan Joyce with his magic accent and "curated" profile and the damage he and his like are doing..something meaty on precarious employment and the new "it's COVID" smokescreens,

Well written and described, John. Awful. Corrupt. Unnecessary - and merits huge compensation to the woman who suffered this appalling treatment! Out of Barilaro estate?

How long until professional women, as a class, simply make it socially impossible for their compatriots who work for or support the Liberal Party? Plenty of women journos lauded Gladys as a feminist hero, including some of the ABC's biggest names. They have always maintained a stance of neutrality toward Barilaro.

I am disgusted by the fate of Jenny West but as long as mainstream journalism finds it impossible to mention that it's always our nation's dominant party doing this sort of shit, I'm just howling at the moon.

Sure, when you lay out all the facts like that the whole thing stinks to hell and back.

But you need to remember the natural order of unqualified, incompetent men over extremely qualified and competent women. I mean you start messing with that, what's next? Cats and dogs living harmoniously in some sort of "woke" Marxist utopia!

Politician's should fear us, not we of them. Henry II had the same problem, back in 1170. Who will rid me of this turbulent politician?

I thought the irrepressible Robin Williams, expressed the Bruz affair very well. "Politics: "Poli" a Latin word meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures"."

New York's, and Monaro's loss has made many people happy, including me.

Back in the day the job would have been given to John Bruz Barilaro as a reward for loyal service or something like that. There would not have been any shafting of anyone else because the job would have been something thought up for an ex-politician. The thing is this lot in government in NSW were supposed to be so much better than the ALP government that they replaced. If you recall that government included Eddie Obeid and Ian McDonald both of whom are doing time at her majesty's pleasure in Long Bay or Silverwater.

Born to rule and even when “de-throned” they still carry the attitude. Take a look at what hat trick Scotty is up to these days!
