What an interesting revelation admission apology from DP. Although given his family's association with the Opus Dei fascist Spanish Catholic order (check out UNSW Warrane College) and support for Franco - who numbered the Nazis among his mates - think Guernica and Pablo Picasso's tribute to that bombed-to-smithereens town - it is not so surprising that young Dom might put on the sharp black-and-silver trappings of an SS uniform. And thanks again for Tim Minchin's little song. And blessings to Louise Milligan and all those who otherwise suffer, triggered by the ugly Abbott, Howard, Dutton and Murdoch attack hounds rising up to deify Pell. It is obscene!

As I commenced reading your post, I felt certain you were going to mention the war, I did once but I think I got away with it. I think Pope Pius XII was a closet nazi camp follower during the war, he had the Admiral Nelson touch, when ask where the hebrews were, he replied, Jews, I see no Jews, I wonder where they all went. He had a great line in issuing Vatican passports, (it's actually a state), for German soldiers who wore black uniforms, for a one way ticket to Argentina.

When you go to a particular fancy dress shop, Dominic will give you the address, and you raise your arm to scratch your armpit whilst you are at the counter, and say Dr Strangelove sent me, that's the secret signal that you can go can into the basement room out the back.

They have whole range of items for those who hate everybody, except white anglo saxon protestants, they have a twenty percent discount for right wing members of the Liberal Party, and if you show a picture of Tony Abbott or Mathias Cormann everything is gratis. Plus if you have one of Bronwyn Bishop you will receive an Iron Cross first class. The liar from the shire has been expunged from the list of exalted ones, because people began to see that he was a member of the party, and he may have given the game away whilst he was ululating during a Horizon shindig.

The Reich Chancellery is located at Level 2, 131 Macquarie Street ,Sydney, a monthly get together in the Musolli room is a must the Fidei Defensor.

For connoisseurs of uniforms, among those who believe they are born to rule, would have spotted the regalia was made of the finest cut, as becomes those who appreciate the tailoring of a Hugo Boss suit, Their expertise dates back to the Anschluss, when they were granted the license to make all the uniforms for the Blitzkrieg.

The spin doctors wrestled with an excuse when DP showed a glimpse of his true colours, they decided that he had suffered from a sudden bout of Amnesia and Deja Vu combined, they said he had forgotten about this before.

We must take pity on poor old Domimy, bad luck runs in the family. His grandfather was a deep sea fisherman and his boat sank in the middle of the Atlantic, as he floundered around on the waves he saw the lights of a ship approaching, he cried out in joy because his luck had changed, he was picked up by the Titanic.

I think Pell died while sedated, which is a real bummer as I wish he'd have been quaking in abject terror on his way out because he'd've thought he was about to meet his maker and have to atone for eternity for his inaction as well as his alleged action.

All creepy hands-on but no responsibility, except for minding the zillions tucked away in the Papal vaults.

Unlike some of the abused, he'd lived to a ripe old age - or maybe over-ripe and rotten to the core.

DP's 21st birthday had a "theme" which was "uniforms". I hope he's lying, because it's worse if it's true.

Now. The Nazis did have the most impressive uniforms of all time. So, there were probably a few other Nazis at Dom's Party (Dom's Party, who's going to write that play). But no feminazis, I reckon!

It's my party

I'll dress up like a Nazi

Dress up like a Nazi

Dress up like a Nazi

You'd be a fascist too

If [insert appropriate words]

You'd say sorry too

It’s a strange time for right wing religious nut jobs at present. Dominic and his panicked and unconvincing apologies for his proclivities as a young man (any twenty one year old even twenty years ago must have had some clues about Nazis), the deaths of George Pell (a man comprehensively without empathy compassion or humanity) and pope Benedict, another person about whom we could ask what good if any he did in his life. When Benedict died last week official flags in Canberra were at half mast. On our Parliament House !!! Why??? I am relieved that no state will offer Pell an official send off ( which events, BTW, cost us, the punters, a pretty penny). We need to get religious rent seekers off the public teat and back to the fringes to fight among themselves about their eternal doctrinal irrelevancies. And conservative religious warriors out of our political parties and off the government benches.

Is dressing as a Nazi in the curriculum for Young Liberals? Do they earn extra toadie points?

Apologies to all the non-fascist, anti-genocidal toads and toad lickers out there.

To be fair, most of us did really stupid and, sometimes, offensive things when we were that young (although not quite that stupid and thank Christ people weren't carrying cameras around with them 50 years ago).

I think DP should have dressed up as the Singing Nun/Sœur Sourire who wrote and sang the song Dominique, back in the days when nuns had distinctive uniforms.

Apparently the words of the song have been translated as follows:

Dominic, Nic, Nic/ Nic, goes along very simply

Travelling in poverty and singing./On every road, in every place,

He just talks about the Lord/He just talks about the Lord.

Ol Dom choosing to get all snappy in a Nazi uniform, I'm not even surprised or perplexed, it seems quite natural to me given his nature, background anbd politics.

As for the video clip...it made me feel better, thank you. I had to share the joy on FB
